Computerized Assessments

In addition to a brain map (qEEG), I use computerized assessments to first provide a baseline and then to track a client’s progress throughout the treatment process.  Depending on the client’s needs, I will use either of the following computerized assessments.

T.O.V.A. (Test of Variables of Attention) clients ages 6-11- The Test of Variables of Attention (T.O.V.A.) is a state-of-the-art continuous performance test (CPT) that provides highly accurate, reliable information about an individual’s sustained attention, speed and consistency of responding, and behavioral self-regulation – critical aspects of attention and executive functioning known to be compromised in persons diagnosed conditions affecting the central nervous system.

CNS Vital Signs – CNS Vital Signs is an in-office procedure that helps objectively assess neurocognitive function using computerized neuropsychological tests that assist clinicians in the evaluation and management of neurodegenerative, neuropsychiatric, and neurodevelopmental disorders, aid the monitoring and management of their progression e.g. healthy aging, measure the response to treatment e.g. ADD/ADHD medication, CBT, and help identify domains needing additional or full neuropsychological evaluations of brain disease. CNS Vital Signs also contains 50+ computerized evidence-based medical and health rating scales that can help clinicians quickly identify possible symptomologies, behaviors, and possible comorbidities.
